I had a lotus emira that needed to be lemon lawed. It broke the first day I bought the vehicle and they fixed it for over 4 months. I reached out to lotus USA several times and no response. I called a bunch of lemon law attorneys until I found mr. Johnson he said they would take my case and got me back every dollar and as of today. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for lemon law help. They also communicated with me all the way through thanks again Sara and Mr Johnson

I turned to JAG when I was not making any progress towards a buyback on a car that had gone to the shop a week after I bought it and was still there 10 months later. They listened to my situation, took the case, and I received a full reimbursement for my out the door cost from the manufacturer. I worked directly with Nancy Lee who was always available whenever I called her for any questions that came up. When dealing with such a large sum of money it can be nerve racking to be uncertain about who is handling your case. Fortunately, I made the right decision with JAG. Whenever I spoke to Nancy it was clear there was a lot going on behind the scenes they were taking care of before updating me. You can feel confident they are doing everything possible with your case.

Johnson Attorney Group is Amazing! They listened to my case over the phone and we were able to take care of everything via email. As a small business owner time is valuable for me and this firm valued me as a client and my time. I am very pleased with the outcome of my case. They are very honest and did not take advantage of me like my divorce attorney did. I highly recommend them.

Mr Johnson and staff as well as Nancy have been extremely precise efficient and caring regarding my case which pertains to the Lemon Law. Mr Johnson was able to wrap up my case within weeks of our initial consultation. I would not only highly recommend Mr. Johnson and the firm but would urge anyone to go no where but this firm when dealing with the Lemon Law. What really stood out to me about Johnson Attorneys Group was how they made me feel like my questions and concerns were important. They didn’t treat me like just another phone call; instead, they took the time to fully explain everything in a way I could easily understand. The level of care and professionalism from their team is truly impressive. I would recommend them in a heartbeat to anyone who needs clear, compassionate legal help.

If you're looking for attorneys who combine legal expertise with genuine compassion, Johnson Attorneys Group fits the bill. They've brought a new level of professionalism and dedication to personal injury law firms all around.

No Fee Unless We Win or Settle Your Case

We handle personal injury cases on a contingency-fee basis. That means you do not pay attorney’s fees unless we recover compensation for you through a settlement or verdict.

A free consultation does not create an attorney-client relationship. We can only give legal advice after we review your facts and agree to represent you.

What Is a Personal Injury Claim in California?

A personal injury claim may arise when someone is hurt because of another person’s wrongful act, negligence, or failure to use ordinary care.

California Civil Code section 1714 states that everyone is responsible not only for willful acts, but also for injuries caused by a lack of ordinary care or skill in managing their property or person. In practical terms, many personal injury cases turn on whether someone acted carelessly and whether that carelessness caused harm.

The California Courts Self-Help Guide explains that personal injury cases may involve physical, emotional, or psychological injuries, and that an injured person may ask for money to cover medical bills, lost wages, emotional harm, or other losses from the injury.

We are Experienced in All Kinds of Personal Injury Cases in Orange County, California

Each type of case requires its own investigation. A car crash claim may depend on police reports, insurance coverage, photos, vehicle damage, and witness statements. A premises liability case may involve property ownership, maintenance records, prior complaints, and notice of a dangerous condition. A nursing home abuse or elder neglect case may require medical records, care plans, staffing records, and witness information.

Who May Be Responsible for Your Injuries?

It is not always obvious who should be held responsible after an accident. California Courts notes that injured people often sue the person who caused the injury, the owner of a car or property, or an employer if the person was working at the time.

Depending on your case, responsible parties may include:

  • A negligent driver
  • A commercial trucking company
  • A rideshare driver
  • A property owner
  • A business operator
  • A product manufacturer
  • A maintenance company
  • A nursing home or care facility
  • A medical provider
  • An employer of the person who caused the injury
  • A government agency, if the facts support that type of claim

Identifying every responsible party matters because it can affect insurance coverage, available compensation, and legal deadlines.

Compensation You May Be Able to Recover

If another person or company caused your injury, your claim may include economic and non-economic damages.

Economic damages may include:

  • Emergency medical care
  • Hospital bills
  • Surgery
  • Doctor visits
  • Physical therapy
  • Medication
  • Future medical treatment
  • Lost wages
  • Loss of future earning capacity
  • Property damage
  • Out-of-pocket expenses

Non-economic damages may include:

  • Pain and suffering
  • Emotional distress
  • Physical limitations
  • Loss of enjoyment of life
  • Disfigurement or scarring
  • The impact of permanent injury

The value of a personal injury claim depends on the facts. We look at liability, medical evidence, injury severity, future care needs, wage loss, available insurance, and how the injury affects your daily life.

California Personal Injury Deadlines

Deadlines are critical.

California Code of Civil Procedure section 335.1 gives a 2-year deadline for an action involving injury to, or death of, a person caused by the wrongful act or neglect of another. California Courts also explains that personal injury claims usually must be filed within 2 years from the injury, while property damage claims commonly have a 3-year deadline.

Different and shorter requirements may apply if a government agency or government employee is involved. California Courts warns that government claims have different requirements and may require a claim to be submitted to the agency by an earlier deadline.

Do not wait to ask for legal help. Evidence can disappear, witnesses can become harder to locate, and insurance companies may try to get statements before you understand the full extent of your injuries.

What To Do After an Accident in Orange County

If you were injured, take these steps as soon as you safely can:

  1. Get medical care.
  2. Report the accident when appropriate.
  3. Take photos of the scene, injuries, vehicles, property condition, or hazard.
  4. Get names and contact information for witnesses.
  5. Save insurance letters, medical bills, receipts, and repair estimates.
  6. Keep a record of missed work and physical limitations.
  7. Avoid giving a recorded statement to the other side’s insurance company before getting legal advice.
  8. Speak with a California personal injury lawyer if the injury is serious, fault is disputed, or multiple parties may be responsible.

California Courts states that a lawyer can be especially important when the injury is severe or long-term, damages are large, fault is unclear, or several people or businesses may be responsible.

How Johnson Attorneys Group Helps

When we represent an injured client, our work may include:

  • Investigating how the injury happened
  • Identifying responsible parties
  • Reviewing police reports, incident reports, or medical records
  • Preserving evidence
  • Communicating with insurance companies
  • Gathering medical bills and treatment records
  • Documenting lost income
  • Evaluating future medical needs
  • Consulting experts when needed
  • Negotiating for settlement
  • Filing a lawsuit when necessary to protect the claim

Our goal is to take the legal and insurance burden off your shoulders so you can focus on medical treatment, recovery, and your family.

Why Call an Orange County Personal Injury Attorney?

You may benefit from legal representation if:

  • You suffered a serious or long-term injury.
  • You need ongoing medical treatment.
  • The insurance company is blaming you.
  • The settlement offer does not cover your losses.
  • You are missing work.
  • A loved one died.
  • A business, employer, or government entity may be responsible.
  • More than one party may share fault.
  • You do not know which insurance policies apply.
  • You are being pressured to sign a release.

Insurance companies handle claims every day. Most injured people do not. A lawyer can help you understand what evidence matters, what deadlines apply, and whether a settlement offer is fair based on the facts of your case.
